Pre-Health Advisor

Provides pre-health advising for UC Riverside students and alumni from all majors interested in pursuing a graduate/professional degree in the health professions. In addition, this position assists with program development, such as creating workshop ideas and materials, speaker series, assessment and evaluation, recruitment activities as well as other related duties. Assists with coordination of peer mentor program including selection, training and supervision of 16+ peer mentors. Compiles statistical data on students applying to health professions schools. Assists in planning long term goals to increase productivity of office. Represents the Health Professions Advising Center, Undergraduate Education and UCR at various events on campus and in the community. The full salary range for the Pre-Health Advisor is $54,200 - $93,200 (salary & benefits) annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is $54,200 - $60,000. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff. As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time.  Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements.

 

This position is hybrid with 3 days per week on campus.
