Job Summary/Basic Function:

 

The pre-medical professions advisor will report to the Director of the Ezekiel R. Dumke Family Pre-medical Professional Programs, and will work closely with the College of Science academic advisors. The pre-medical professions advisor will be responsible for advising current and prospective undergraduates and alumni of WSU’s and other undergraduate programs, serving as the principal source of information and advice about preparation for making application to graduate programs in the health professions (dentistry, optometry, medicine, veterinary sciences, pharmacy, etc.). Note that advising about pre-physician’s assistant, pre-physical therapy, and careers in nursing are handled by the Dumke College of Health Professions, This is a 1.0 FTE position.

 

Required Qualifications:

 

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience is required.
