JOB SUMMARY/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
The Associate Director of Healthcare Pathway Programs provides strategic leadership, advising, programming, and operational oversight for students pursuing careers and advanced education in health professions. This position supports collaborative initiatives between the University of Tennessee System schools and UT Health Sciences that promote student success, professional school readiness, and the development of Tennessee's healthcare workforce. The Associate Director delivers comprehensive advising and coaching services that support students from career exploration through professional school admission and career entry.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree. (TRANSCRIPT REQUIRED)
EXPERIENCE:
Six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in academic advising, student affairs, health professions advising, higher education administration, student success, program management, or a related field; OR Master’s Degree and four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in academic advising, student affairs, health professions advising, higher education administration, student success, program management, or a related field; OR a combination of related education and experience that equals ten (10) years.
